David Carson is a novelist, poet, playwright, memoirist and an award-winning songwriter. Raised in Indian Country in Oklahoma, David was taught the ways and signs of animals by his Choctaw mother and aunts, Opal, Ruby, Agnes and Phoebe. After writing Medicine Cards with Jamie Sams, David traveled extensively giving readings and seminars about the transformative power of animals. David’s other books include Crossing into Medicine Country, 2013 Oracle, Find Your Spirit Animal and others.
